The OVAL SORTER is a tray-based sortation system and is deve-loped for flat goods such as books, garments,
accessories and many other items. It also sorts returned goods to stock locations. The trays circulate in a horizontal plane, the so called oval. The shape can be a closed oval or an open oval where the operators work inside the machine as well to suit different operational requirements.
The products are transported on trays. Each tray opens like the nose wheel doors of a plane. The articles are discharged directly into the shipping box. The products can be inducted manually or automatically onto the trays. The system is constructed of standard sections such as the Induction, Discharge, Drive, Closing and Take up (turning) section for ease and speed of installation.
