At Maxima LT logistics center, the automated Equinox system is already optimizing warehouse operations – fresh product sorting is now faster and more efficient.
The newest logistics center of Maxima, Lithuania’s largest retail chain, currently serves 242 stores and is designed with reserve capacity to support future growth.
Equinox automation solution includes the following integrated components:
✅ Modern sorter, an impressive 700 meters long, sorts up to 15,000 packages per hour
✅ Three robots automatically load product packages onto the sorter
✅ WMS Vision ensures the operation of the automated system and manages all warehouse processes
Vaida Ruzgaitė-Siautilienė, Head of Project Management at Maxima LT, says that the project has been truly successful – fresh food products are now handled faster for the stores, and employees face less physical strain.
